I always wanted to play this game but the graphics looked kinda bad for its time and I didn't want to pay full price for it. How was it?

The character designs looked much better for the second one, how was the gameplay/plot?

Since we're also talking about dino games, did anyone play this? How did they compare with each other?

the dino models kinda turned me off of dinosaur king so I honestly can't say.

Can't actually remember too much about the plot of either than being pretty basic kodomo/shonen. Gameplay is still pretty great - like a proper progression from the first. Double-sided fossils were a pain in the ass to clean at first but definitely worth the effort to perfect.

oh and general consensus of Frontier was that it was a disappointment but I wouldn't go so far as to call it bad.

Definitely play the second over it though.
