Encounters:
Way better than traditional games, I hate random encounters and having to use repels. This is a great change imo. Shiny hunting is actually fun and chaining is great as well except for when Pokemon flee because you miss a few catches.
Catching: Joycon kept losing tracking so it was a nightmare. It was alright in handheld. I personally dont mind it but I wouldn't care if it went back to the old way. Something I think this game did right was legendary battles, then catching after defeating them. If they maybe did it like that for every Pokemon it wouldn't be so bad but I understand encounters would be longer.
