You know, so far my only big issue with it is that you have to capture pokemon in order to get exp, but the game doesnt give the option to auto release if you dont want what you capture.

As a pirate, it's not the complete worst game, but yeah I wouldn't even pay 20 dollars. Some of the updated movesets are making me happy at least. Fucking butterfree learned quiver dance at level 22, bug buzz, air slash in the late 20s, and bug buzz in the early 30s. The whole bullshit of "bug types are strong at first but then weak towards the end" can actually finally be said. No more being stuck with struggle bug/gust until level 47 or some shit

Didn't buy it.
But my autism makes me think about speedrun strats already.
Chain catch nidoran until you have 200 candies, then pick one with a good nature and +200 all stats, then get a persian you can ride on and rush through the game?

Im enjoying it, but literally only at the same level as I do RBY and FRLG. So nothing special.

Thanks to mandatory exp share Im basically only using Nidorino, Pikachu and sometimes Bulbasaur so my team doesnt feel very invested.

I pirated it on tuesday and hate it
I hate the mandatory exp share, that eevee is never geting used now it's always overleveled
I hate how they give you all the perfect iv starters, so you feel bad for not using them
i hate how little exp the battles give you and how much the capturing meme does
i hate how sometimes you get a free pass and dont get hit
I hate that its a downgrade on all front pokemon
No held items, abilities and yet IVs stay
Im not even sure if I wanna finish it anymore, i made it to lavander town and im feeling so empty, im glad i didnt buy it

Yes, a remake should remix the old game with new, current elements,
Not make it regress backwards
Imagine a Kanto game looking like usum, having pokemon and items from all the generations
Now in HD

Instead we got turd that looks like one of those fan made pokemon in unity shits
