Melmetal looks like a fucking dope trick room mon
>Signature move has 120 power with 60% flinch chance
>ablitiy gives more power to said move and ice and thunder punches
>decent coverage with superpower with rocks and earthquake
>135 hp 143 attack/defense
also sky attack and solarbeam have 200 power now thats a thing

It actually has 51% chance of flinching.
Flinching requires you to flinch with the FIRST (OR) SECOND hits, while not landing a flinch means the FIRST AND SECOND hits didn’t flinch the target.
The chance that a Pokemon doesn’t flinch on a given hit is 70%.
0.7 x 0.7 = 0.49 = 49%
This means that its signature move flinches less times than Jirachi’s Headbutt assuming both outspeed their targets (which Melmetal definitely won’t that often)
