They balance the game with VGC in mind, looking at how badly priority and Mega Kang got nerfed.

Auto Trick Room would absolutely be broken not just in VGC, but singles too.

It would cause a Politoed/Ninetails situation where they are on a chunk of teams.

It'd have to be on a shitmon in order to make up for it.

Having Ability Capsules that make eligible Pokemon have the weather abilities instead of their default/hidden ability would be a neat feature.

Would only work if the ability were contained to the carrier being on the field, at that point the Pokemon can actually be made competent and not a shitmon to balance it
