Before even having a wishlist I just want the games to meet a baseline level of quality and decisions worth being excited about. Other than that I hope Bug gets more buffs.

Just like we can forget about all those gimmicks that just make the game easier during a playthrough, such as Z Moves and Mega Evolution.
But still, I feel it's a dumb thing even being offered those tools.

Why did Meltan need to be a fucking mythical? It was a a little cute oddity and it even evolves. Not to mention that in loads of it's promo material there are like billions of them. What's so mythical if there are billions of them?

That's a good question.
They could have just added a stage between Meltan and Melmetal and then made it a pseudo-legendary, if they really wanted to make it something special.

This is ideal, best direction for a mainline series.

I really just want a return to form, give me something Emerald, HGSS or Platinum tiered, the one praise I have for USUM is that I liked the bosses, I felt that they were the right amount of challenge for a pokemon game so keep that up, keep skipping cutscenes from LGPE, decent endgame facilities

And the best thing, the greatest Gen 8 Pokémon may not be available in the main game. You'll probably need to export it from LGPE, meaning: there will be a hole in my living dex.
