Changing it to an arcade is pretty reasonable, since those also tend to have yakuza ties in Japan. I don't know why they don't let you play the games anymore, though. They could just rewrite it to something like a contest where the high score on a game gets a Porygon or something if they really wanted to distance themselves from gambling.
