FRLG, solely for the presence of its Picnicker design. The fact that they replaced it with what we got in LGPE is disheartening when literally all I wanted out of more Kanto games was a remastered version of her.

I hate the remake for not allowing me to use the newer pokemon, until late game, and I traded pokemon like treeko, it won't evolve,
at least RBGY they don't exist, so I can replay those.
FRLG why limit my option, and disable cross evo? I hate every remake that does this, allow me to use more options not less.
Until then I'll stick RBGY

It was particularly shit when Zubat had a reasonable chance of being added to a player's team being early-game, resulting in it spending most of the game trying to evolve much to the player's annoyance. At least with Chansey you're not likely to get one to Blissey level before National Dex. Gamefreak evidently realized they fucked up because they added the Gen 4 evos and preevos to the Johto dex from the start. The most likely reason why LGPE restricts it is because Gamefreak were too lazy to implement ride mechanics and shit for 800 mons.
