>>37012337I’d like it to focus on Detective Pikachu and Tim traveling the Pokémon world solving mysteries. That angle is great for casual fans, but leaves plenty of room to focus on classic Pokémon elements for fans.
Like maybe Tim and Pikachu investigate drama happening behind a Pokémon tournament or gym. We can get plenty of Pokémon battles out of it, while getting cameos of well known Gym leaders.
Heck a mystery exploring regional Elite Four members would be awesome.
We can even retread classic plots like Mewtwo’s origin, the Ho-oh Tower, Lavender Town (and ghost Pokémon and general), Team Aqua vs Team Magma, Pokémon Rangers, the mystery of Mt. Moon, the disseapearance of a Pokémon photographer (Pokemon Snap), visiting Alola, traveling through time and space with Dialga and Palkia....
It’ll be nice if either Tim builds a Pokémon team of his own, and / or just travels with a new Pokémon trainer in each film.
