To be fair, you have to have a very good insight into a game design to that LGPE are good games. The gameplay is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of pokemon lore, most of the features will go over a typical gamers head.

User score from casuals means nothing. Expert opinion is what is right. They aren't paid to review games for nothing, every single critic has a great understanding of medium and experience to back it on realistic grounds.
