Honestly, it would be pretty weird, even for GF standards, if they kept hardcore-shilling Kanto in the next game.
Assuming Let's Go! was made to lure normies into the main series, who are they going to surprise if the new content was based on something they just played?
Feature Red? Give out Kanto starters? Fly to Kanto? All that shit would've been experienced less than a year ago.

I want another region that is similar to Alola, a.i. it actually feels like a place it is supposed to represent. I also want the girls to be as cute as they were in S&M. I want more Lillie. And I want a complete revamp of battle and online systems. I can't imagine how huge Pokemon could become if they were actually to try and make it's online matchmaking actually fucking playable. Don't make actual battling easy to learn or to master. Make it "possible to begin playing online without farming for 20 hours for a basic bitch team and without having to deal with cheaters and teams full of unobtainable banned legendaries".
I also want stats to be less influential in general as opposed to unique abilities and shit.

I personally don't see how the two could coexist. In my opinion, maximizing the narrative is a core part of what makes legendaries fun to hunt down. People like going to special places with story driven sidequests centered around the pokemon in question when hunting stuff down. People have complained since ORAS that legendaries have felt lifeless since they just show up with no story behind it. I'd love to know what you think though. Everything else though I pretty much agree with totally except lacking Z-moves and Megas. We're already cutting a lot of content with LGPE. As long as they're postga e I think it's fine.

Half the region is frozen and barely inhabitable.
The other half is like a paradise.
The story is about the legendaries battling for eternity to keep balance. Team XXX wants to disturb the balance depending on your version and succeeds, for a short time turning the worldmap either fully into paradise or frozen wasteland.
Then the third legendary awakens to return the balance.

Gameplay is like a mix of SM and LGPE combining the worst aspects of both games.

This is your standard for a good Pokémon game?

Yeah, Alola had good atmosphere. You don't need to make it linear to have that. Hoenn and Sinnoh did just fine with the region's identities while being huge and explorable. Making a linear game with very little to do goes against what makes Pokémon great.

I would like the game to become a true open world like anyone else does but I don't feel that not having few arbitrary (and obligatory for backtracking) forks in the road the way previous titles did is actually worth bitching about.

Nothing's arbitrary about going to Diglett's Tunnel, which is literal steps away from a story point in Sun/Moon, but being blocked off by Olivia for no good reason. Instead you're forced to go to the volcano and you're teleported to the top.

For the overworld X menu, I like what they did with USUM having saving on a hotkey but instead of one, each directional button on the left joycon is a customizable hotkey. That way you can have buttons right on your most important options. The same thing goes for Pokeride type stuff. Keep the d-buttons as hotkeys for those. For the bag UI I want switching packs to be like switching Shulk's Monado arts in Ultimate. Hold in the button on the left stick to open up the pack select, which would switch to the packs in a circle rather than item select, point in the direction of the option you want to choose, release the button to select the pack you want to go through. If that isn't your style though there's the traditional system and a new search function though that scans the entire bag. There would also be an option to use the last item you used again like in battles. Battling would have the four options tied to the directional buttons again with up being fight, left being bag, right being switch pokemon and down being run. Clicking fight would change the directions from the battle options to that pokemon's attacks. The left and right options bring you to different menus and run flees like always. Other than that I just want a big region that takes advantage of the hardware with map design like super metroid where you'll take some secret path to find it was connected to a main path you took waaaay earlier.

Make it like gens 1 and 2 where legendaries were hidden in some obscure dungeon in the world and you were the one who uncovered it. They were referenced a bit here and there (especially in Gen 2) but they were still optional. Giratina in DP and Rayquaza in RS as well. Minimal story role, maybe as a plot device, and an option to explore their dungeon and catch them for yourself. Don't make them the centerpiece of the game and force you to catch them at the climax for the sake of the plot.
