They're certainly not ports in the sense that they were made for the 3ds but at the same time they were made using assets and the engine from gen 6 and 7 so they're really held back because they might as well be ports.

This is the company that has in the USUM files separate (but copypasted) models of Lillie for every single cutscene she is in, instead of simply referencing the same model every time it's needeed

GF sucks all kind of dick at optimizing and they don't seem interested in getting outside help to clean up their shit code
