hunters arc where the funding was cut and the show had to end early.

This sounds par for the course of modern rpgs. I feel like most these days have some sort of visual novel element or something as well as the main combat system. I love persona 3-5 so the visual novel aspect doesn't bother me.

Fuck Survive. I'm biding my time until the next PS4 Digimon Story comes out. It's already being worked on. Even Bamco admitted Survive is filler trash while they work on the new Story.

I'm still excited for Survive since I really do enjoy Devil Survivor & Fire Emblem, but at least we do know the next Story Game will be much better than previous since most of the rehashed maps were due to Vita Limitations, Habu said he wanted Digimon to get away from that so most likely we'll be seeing some good areas, a Digimon Story game with a world like Digimon World would be really amazing.

I liked the greater RPG-focus. I think a modern MR would have to do that. Give us varied dungeons to do expeditions in with our mons, as well as the tourneys and stuff. Maybe flesh out the training to where the minigames are more entertaining.
