This + ridable pokemon + roller-skates would be the ideal.

Also soaring but with all flying pokemon. Even the little ones like pidgey, they can grip you in their talons or something.

I think that's how Starmie orients in its running animation (gem facing up). The ride animation is probably a nod to that anime episode where Misty races on Starmie.

I was hoping for this when SM were first shown, but Scolipede isn't even in the Alola dex. Stoutland would have been cool if it weren't just an Itemfinder or a worse version of Tauros.
