XY was when I became seriously concerned.
SM is when my hope was crushed without mercy.
But LGPE dealt the killing blow. The final confirmation that Game Freak is dead and that Pokemon will never be the way it used to be.

Haven't yet. If Gen 8 follows the LGPE model then I'm done (and I actually like every game up to USUM).
