You're right I've never seen a japanese distribution cartridge, also what event does this one contain and does it works with the English Version?

Yeah I remember downloading these roms and distributing legal gen 4 (& 5 if I remember) events way past the date they were released, what a blast.

No it needs to be distributed to a Japanese game first then you can trade them to English if you want. It isn't a problem if you have a couple cheap $15 original R4s. Easy to find.

I was told they have a new Gen 3 rom as well, but I couldn't get any information on it, and I don't think that will be coming out this year.

It's another Gen 3 distro, largely similar the 10ANNIV and Mew roms that are already public
