What the hell is this man supposed to be building? Not even in the remake they bothered building up anything here. In the end this part of the game is a meme and that's it

That’s not true. They literally have the same story. It’s just that red blue and green had a separate adventure, one that is unknown to us at the moment. The evidence is in the dialogue, and not to mention the fact it’s the same story as rby just with a different protag

Maybe it represents patience. He's been working hard on that building for 20 years and we still haven't seen any significant results, but when it's done, when it's done you know it will be incredible. Not that we even know when or if we'll even get to see it, but that man knows patience will reward him.
