Venusaur isn't ugly, he just has a bad artist who doesn't know how to draw him for artworks.
and he looks like an intimidating jungle monster, which is pretty cool especially considering he's poisonous.

Blastoise doesn't look dangerous as Venusaur.
and Charizard looks like too frail and weak with his tiny arms.

Anime and Manga did Venusaur much better than Sugimori.

This is correct. They made his model really off too.
He doesn't get his smug grin, and looks like a mouth breather.
They also made his legs really weird, where his front legs are practically above the head and the rear legs are always sitting and can handle be seen from the front.
Venusaur definitely got a raw deal on the shift from 2d to 3d and unfortunately, it will probably stay that way for the forceable future.

Venusaur at least has been a key core of every Sun Team since Gen 5.

Charizard has been a joke since Stealth Rock and Blastoise has been unviable trashmon since Gen1.

Maybe when you stop being a 5 years Pokemon GO fag you will understand how shitty Charizard and Blastoise are.

Mega Venusaur and Charizard X are both ranked B+ in OU tier while Charizard Y is ranked C+.

Mega Charizard is viable but it's unusable now, regular Charizard is garbage though.
