I think he's implying that LGPE is actually popular, when most of /vp/ wanted it to fail.
Having played it, if they brought back wild battles, fixed the EV/AV system, and made sure Pokemon didn't run like everything was the Safari Zone, it'd be a good addition to the series.

Actually the fact that let’s go is at the top on a school day in the US shows that college age or adults are the ones streaming. Over the weekend fortnite had over 220,000 streamers when school was not in session. Turns out the same old fuckers are the ones buying Pokémon
