How do you differentiate what makes a new route in that game? I saw a playthrough, and each area(i think) had its own sub-areas where different types of pokemon could be found. Also all the event encounters.

It basically exists. Jupiter has it at somewhere around gym and it's kinda hard beating it since the game doesn't offer many options that are supereffective against it in the early levels.

Morty can be scary. I never really thought much of Whitney, due to me always using x attack on somebody with a fighting move when fighting the clefairy. Unless you have anything with an electric attack any trainer with a gyarados could be a run-ender. Fuck you, Crasher Wake. Cheren in B2/W2 is also basically just a leap of faith.

I've always found USUM Guzma to be terrifying. Him having Ariados and only having Masquerain and Pinsir with shit coverage in the last battle is fine, but in USUM having Masquerain brought forward all the way to the first fight in Malie Garden, plus Pinsir with insane coverage in the Shady House one is just nuts. Then you've got the fucking Vikavolt, which is at least slow but have fun switching in safely on Set mode. Good grief.

I usually go by route name except for route 1. I do the actual route 1, the part by the lab, and the trainer school as seperate areas

Sun is one of the harder regions i've heard. but yes, I'm not interested in playing something that is THAT reliant on cutscenes. I think there should be a rule in pokemon games, "Have one very long(skippable)" cutscene, or none at all. I can't stand how lame the writing is.

I managed to beat Koga with X item spam which honestly is probably the best chance I have given how I'm basically stuck being 10 levels underleveled for the rest of the game. I think the only other mandatory trainers are Blue, Giovanni, the other Gym Leaders, Victory Road trainers, and possibly some gym trainers. I don't feel comfortable trying to fight Blaine or Sabrina at this point - I think my only option is trying to deal with Blue and hopefully evolve Wartortle and beat Blaine with more X item abuse.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Well, turned out that Silph Blue and Giovanni are embarrassingly easy. Blue's an idiot for getting rid of Leech Seed on Venusaur (for freaking Sweet Scent) and Giovanni for not having STAB in general. Unfortunately even with the extra Rocket grunt it wasn't enough to evolve Wartortle.

Also I got extremely lucky with a Run Away Raticate catch because I would literally have gotten slaughtered by higher leveled Raticate if I didn't. This will no doubt be the case in Victory Road too. I tried Surfing for high level Tentacools (they can be anywhere from 5-40 iirc) and literally every Tentacool I found was level 15~ so that was dumb. I guess Wartortle's gonna have to solo Blaine, evolve, and then take on Giovanni as a Blastoise. The only other source of EXP at this point is Sabrina and that's just too risky.

I also don't remember if the Sevii Islands thing is mandatory or not but I hope it is because I desperately need EXP.

It's not just LGPE, nuzlocke threads have been dead for a while. I blame /funmons/, but people just don't care as much as they used to. Obviously with LGPE-related funposting it'll be especially hard to keep these threads alive. I should try SGSS again and update that too.
