Metacritic is a fucking cancer on game discussion
You can't quantify enjoyment/value/quality of a game with a single number
But review sites train consumers to think that you can by printing high review scores on boxes
What you get is rabbid fanboys pointing to low or high numbers making oh no no posts and not much else.
All that said, there have been some pretty level headed discussions about the good and bad points of this game as well as how much or little influence people think it will have on future titles. I'm actually quite happy to see these kinds of conversations among the shit flinging
