What was your first shiny that wasn't the Red Gyarados? For me it was a golbat I found in Victory Road in Silver version.

Some gay-ass green Wingull in Diamond. I was so pissed at Pelipper by that point in the game from their annoying Protect usage that I just hated it the moment I saw it. I still hate it to this day. It's especially annoying because I was EV training on Gloom, one of my favorite Pokemon, when I found it. Why couldn't it have been a Gloom?

Played since yellow, and it took me all the way to gen 4 before I caught my first shiny. Shiny Pichu in Platinum in that mansion area I can't remember the name of. good times

playing for about 15 years now and the only unique shiny ive found was a buneary a couple months ago in diamond. During the section where you're escorting the girl with the chansey through a forest. Her chansey nearly ko'd the buneary before I ko'd the chansey

I'm was cheating to get Swablu encounter very early in Emerald. When it appeared shiny I thought I mistook cheat. Apperently not.
Next one was Grimer in Cinnabar Mansion.

Golett in Dragonspiral Tower in Black. I named it Hogarth but never evolved it, it died all the time.
I played through the game once and never touched it again. It was my first and only shiny, and the last Pokemon species in the last game I'd ever expect to find a shiny.

I played 10 different Pokémon games before finding my first shiny in X. A female Wobufett in the mirror cave. Then in Omega Ruby I came across two while filling my living Dex. A Wailmer in Lilycove and a Diglet from an egg. Wasn’t even trying for it, it was just in the one egg I bred from my dugtrio.

A shiny Nidoran in I think Crystal that I had no Pokeballs for. The first I actually caught that I remember was a shiny Audino, but I've caught a fair few since, and I never chain for them. Just get lucky. I do have a shiny Golbat as well, but it's from the Thrifty Megamart in Sun.

I got shiny Natu in pokemon silver
I got shiny Persian in FRLG
I got shiny Dratini fresh off game corner also in FRLG

Those are my legit shiny. Didn't have much luck from gen 4-7.
