It's crazy that at some point TPCi was cool with doing a display the size of a two room apartment in the middle of a mall, and didn't have Pikachu and the gen 1 gang plastered everywhere.

No. When I was a kid I was supposed to go to the Mew event but I got sick so I gave my friend my Blue cartridge and the little fucker "lost" my game before going to the event and then bragged about his Mew. His mom at least bought me a new one.
