I wouldn't get my hopes up. The movie looks fun but extremely basic. And it might be polarizing to fans of the show/games considering the main focus isn't capturing and battling

This. I'm not even a fan of the MCU, but the way more people are emotionally invested in the finale of the saga that started way back in 2008. Detective Pikachu relied purely on audience curiosity. Their first mistake was showing the live action Pokemon in the first trailer. Now no one has a reason to see the film.
