While Emerald has an entire section dedicated to different battle styles, a better Sky Pillar, and far less cutscenes. Not to mention you have to search for Latias and Latios instead of literally getting them handed to you, making them mean a lot more and making them actually feel like legendaries. Way better character designs too.
Emerald IS better.
