The next decade of Pokémon is as follows:

> 2021: Pokémon 25th anniversary includes a barrage of changes, a new mainline game that’s going to split the community, live action Pokémon movie comes out, and Pokémon is at an all time high. Diamond and pearl remakes are released late in the year and get a 8.1/10.
> 2022: Masuda snaps. The invention of bionics the year prior has corrupted his mortal soul, and he becomes more machine than man. Masuda privately takes all his subordinates at TPCI and gives them a choice - die as humans, or live on as cyborgs. At this point, the subliminal messages Masuda has been implanting into previous Pokémon games for three years are found, however the fans have been indoctrinated. General internet backlash is low, as the internet is only accessible to the Chinese, Japanese, and French is after the total destruction of all other countries in the war. Coincidentally, or perhaps not, these are the countries Masuda focused most of his attention on getting under his control.
