The best kingler set is SD+agility, great for the late game, but if you're fixated on using non-standard stuff, physically defensive will always do you better than specially defensive on this mon, since it can take physical hits whereas it will instantly drop if anything as much as sneezes a special attack on its direction.
If you go this route, I'd recommend max HP and Atk over Def, because it takes hits similarly well to fully defensive kingler (it has great natural defense, only shitty thing is its HP), but unlike it, this one can kill stuff when it comes down to it. Liquidation, rock slide and knock off, then decide if you want swords dance or superpower for the last move.
