I would be happy if it would be look like this.
The animations are good, like blastoise is shooting water from it's guns and all that details stuff we had in collosseum/xd/Stadium/PBR, pokemon sizes are correct. I don't want pokemon to become pseudo-realistic, that would probably kill the franchise and they know it.

What do you guys think? I'm pretty sure this is how gen8 will look like, maybe some slightly refinements.

This game has Pokemon actually move how they don't in the mainline games. Just look at >>37052070 's video at 6:01, and notice how Suicune got a jump animation for itself after taking damage.

Something like this was in Stadium games too.

Did they get the people that do songs for Dragonball Heroes for this? Anyway, don't get your hopes up. They'll just use the LGPE engine and call it a day. Making games is very hard after all, haha.

Gaole has made me realize that one of Pokémon's biggest mistakes was the massive movepools they gave everyone especially early on. If every Pokémon had a more specialized movepool we'd probably have animations that actually fit the move effects.

imagine a game with 1500+ pokemon one day, game freak can't handle this and something has to change sooner or later.
they should go with max 50-70 new pokemon but 20-30 new forms (like alola) from now on.

Not really, ice bean and thunderbolt can have the same animation for example, you just need one for special moves and one for moves that make contact at least (ideally, each pokemon would have unique one depending on the moves, punching and kicking for bipedal mons)

The art is good, but the propotions are crap and its because losers gobble this shit down. The body has no personality, its just the most perfectly sculpted nonsense every time. You could put any pokegirls head on the body and no one would care.

What Gamefreak needs is for Nintendo to step in and actually lay down some shit for them to develop a good game. Say what you will about Mario and Zelda, but as a series, those games are always evolving and changing.

Odyssey and BoTW as examples. It's clear that GF being essentially a 2nd party and being left to their own devices isn't enough for them to produce something of quality without pandering.
