>>37055344>What's the preferred nature for the starter Pikachu / Eevee?I'm playing Pikachu version, and mine was Lonely. I would say any nature that raises one of the attack stats or speed and lowers one of the defense stats would be best, because it gets access to really strong new physical and special attacks like Zippy Zap and Floaty Fall or whatever.
>Also, is there anything I should know before starting the game? The starter comes with maxed IVs. All the gift/event Pokemon like the Magikarp from the salesman, the free starters that are in the same places as Yellow, Hitmonchan/lee, the two sleeping Snorlaxes, Lapras and Porygon in Silph Co, etc. have near-maxed IVs. Use the Channeler in the Celadon City Pokemon Center to fix the nature you want before you accept these Pokemon. I would really just recommend rushing to Celadon City as soon as possible before you start grinding or trying to collect all the rare Pokemon. It'll be a lot easier to build the team you want, since you'll have access to Super Lures and Ultra Balls in addition to the Synchronize Channeler once you reach Celadon. You can probably even skip Surge and come back to him later like you could in Gen 1 if you really want to rush through the game with only your starter and maybe an early Nidoking or something.
