Commitment is something a mature person should be giving ONLY to important stuff like interpersonal relationships, your job, etc. "Chads" don't have more sex just because they won the dna lottery or some bs, a lot of average looking people fall into the chad demography due to their social skills.
Of course, the hip thing to do is to allow into your life a bit of everything, again, with no major commitment since it is just a hobby. So you have to find a game that's both easy to master and welcoming to newbies, to use as an excuse to socialize. This has been a thing since before you were born: couples don't go to the movies for the movie, they want the darkness to do their thing.
Nerds won't socialize out of their nerd circles cause they are too busy taking vidya seriously. They won't get laid either because their ideal of beauty is constructed by their animes and games, a standard they'll hardly ever find in fellow nerds.
Normies who play games uncommitedly have time to socialize and their standards of beauty aren't tainted by waifus, making it more likely for them to find a love partner.
