Let's be real, here. Incineroar was the best choice for a Gen 7 rep in Ultimate. We never had a dedicated wrestler or feline character in the roster before, so Incineroar fit very nicely. Other Pokemon just wouldn't have worked as well.
>Decidueye: Literally Dark Pit if he was a Pokemon
>Lycanroc: Gimmicky furbait with a lazy recolor; Dusk form we be very difficult to implement due to body type and would look awkward
>Buzzwole and Golisopod: Shitmons only liked by hipsters; they are nowhere near as popular as Incineroar
>Primarina: It could only move around by sliding which would look weird; Jigglypuff can already use sound moves, making Prim's potential gimmick redundant; we already have two Water starters
