Following the successful Pokemon GO Safari Zone in Tottori, The Pokemon Company and Tottori prefecture government are teaming up for a Pokemon X Tottori Tourism Campaign.
The tourism campaign will last for 40 days, kicking off December 6, 2018 and ending on January 14, 2019. An “opening announcement” event will take place at the Tottori sand dunes on December 6.
Although there won’t be any special Pokemon encounters in Pokemon GO at the opening announcement event, a special Pokemon mascot will appear at the event – Sandshrew.
