Since the 3DS can play DS games, you can technically play gen 4 and 5 games which were pretty good...except for Sinnoh.

Honestly I still think the DS and 3DS were built like garbage. I wasn't a reckless kid with my systems and my GBA SD is still kicking to this day but literally every single DS and 3DS I've owned have broken. Absolutely awful.

Oras beat the shit out of HGSS, what the fuck are you talking about? They sold like the same. DS just happen to have 5 pairs of titles, unlike 3DS who has only 4.

I guess that explains LetsGo from a marketing standpoint, huh.

"We take Go which was a huge financial success and we use it to make a remake of our most popular 3rdversion."

What I don't understand then is why they keep making new 3rdversions. Doesn't look like it'd be in their best financial interest. Is the production costs so low because of all the reused assets that they still always make a high margin?

this chart only confirms to me that from now on they should only have 2 lines, mainline and remakes of "superior 3rdversions."
HGSS should have just been MindCrystal, ORAS should have just been DeltaEmerald, and AdamantDiamond/LustrousPearl should just be GriseousPlatinum.
