There's only a small amount of Kanto references and none of that takes away from the gameplay, especially since Cynthia fucking shows up in BW and the MC for the Hoenn games moved from Johto, invaldiating any complaints.
Also, it's 100% disingenuous (but expected from /vp/ autists) to blame it on Kanto Pokemon, but Pokemon from Gens 2 - 4 were also nonexistent in BW, leading to complaints because people have favorites from the entire franchise.
