It's really baffling how anyone, including him thinks Gen 5 was supposed to be his masterpiece when he literally had Gen 3 and 4 planned all along and considered D/P having been the grand finale as per interviews (which made sense since Gen 4 was originally part of the Gen 2 map, about 45% of Sinnoh comes straight from places in the demo - Sinnoh was basically doing what they had planned to do originally for Gen 2).
