>>37071342This, i was so sure we were getting a prequel based on all the hints of the past, and unused areas like the Kalos Power Plant. Z games could’ve explained why they were inaccessible, and also could’ve placed stuff in areas like the Chamber of Emptiness and Sea Spirit’s Den. Kalos had a lot of opportunities that they let go to waste, there could’ve been a new southern part of Kalos that lead to Kiloude for you to take the train to Couriway Station, traveling Kalos the opposite way than in XY and accessing the Pokemon League from Santalune. As lazy as they are, the train probably would’ve ended up at Lumiose Station, but it’s a nice thought. There was also nothing with Volcanion, a power plant event would’ve been perfect for it, and nothing with Eternal Floette or Magearna either, despite both being tied to AZ. They could’ve also added some Johto and Unova Megas to add more variety to the mix, could’ve gotten Johto Starter Megas as early in-game gifts. I was hoping for a third version until Magearna was announced to be a Gen 7 Pokemon, and even then I was hoping the region would be Spain or something where we could travel to Kalos. A million opportunities and we got jack shit, thanks masuda
