To decrease the overwhelming number, Pokemon are now numbered by lines based on evolutions or relationships, where the first stage is labelled "a" and evolutions "b" and "c". I mean, people treat evolutions as the same Pokemon, so is there any reason to separate them as if they're unrelated? From this there are around 375 lines
>Kanto: 72 (Mew and Mewtwo are grouped together, Miltank is included with Tauros)
>Johto: 46
>Hoenn: 63 (Regigigas is grouped with the Regis, not sure if Zangoose and Seviper should be separated)
>Sinnoh: 38
>Unova: 72 (Monkeys are grouped together)
>Kalos: 34 (Not sure if Carbink and Diancie should be grouped together)
>Alola: 50 (Not sure if all UBs should be separated)
Thoughts?
