Offense is the main selling point of evolutions. To have your prevo outclass you virtually every time in power would be counterintuitive. It's better they have different roles like P-Z to P2.

Why? It wouldn't be that much stronger than Life-Orb anyways (x1.3 vs x1.5) and most pre-evo's are too slow and don't have enough bulk to outclass their evolutions even with a boost. It's only a problem if the last stage is a shitmon, but they're made obsolete by other Pokemon anyways.

Scyther probably isn't the big threat with such an item. Its 105 speed isn't that great anymore and it's x4 weak to Stealth Rock, and dies to most priority moves after that. Maybe in the lower tiers, and in-game it's not usually available early in the game outside of gen II.

Things like Kadabra, Machoke and Haunter would get heavily buffed for in-game play though. You'd basically be nerfing them if you evolved them.

Yes but offensive one should be 25% boost. Any more is probably too broken.

There should be a speed one too, and maybe ones that mix up some attacks and defenses.

For reference these were done at level 45 since thats when Mews attack is in the 100-130 range.

But yeah, theres 0 difference between 1.3x BP and 1.3x stat boost.

1.5x stat boost eviolite is probably fine. The best stuff to abuse it would be like Scyther and Sneasel, nothing to really be afraid of.
