It's different, they won't compare those two launches.

Yeah I was unaware until probably now, although I was highly suspecting it due to the mechanics of the game.

I disagree. XY, ORAS, SM and USUM all had their flaws, but they could still return to a previous point. LGPE is easily what put the final nail on the coffin.

It turned out to be better than USUM, I'm not surprised it's selling well. USUM was total SHIT, basically SM DLC that was made into another shitty $40 game. I never want to hear another faggot bitch about LGPE being a "bad remake" when you motherfuckers bought USUM and unironically thought it was better than SM. You paid $80 for the same game twice, that's much more embarrassing than $60 for a 3D remake to a $10 virtual console game, free if you prefer to emulate.

Nah, they're more likely to pull a Splatoon 2 and add on other gen DLC to the base game for another $20. The other pokemon are already coded in the game, they're just not fully implemented yet.
