Right in front of the stove, there's a mat, and yet not even two feet away from that mat, there's a rug. Putting aside the issue that both of these objects are different colors, only one of which matches with the color scheme of the room, there's the much more glaring issue that there's two objects that serve the same purpose in the first place. Why? The rug in front of the sink is so small that it's liable to be moved when anyone tries to clean dishes. It would make much more sense to just not have the rug there at all, especially in such a close proximity to something that produces flames. Who in their right mind would do this? Why allow for a fire hazard? Does the mother not care for the safety of everyone in the house? Why do they have a stove, but no oven? Why doesn't the trash can have a bag in it????
