I unironically want a Pokemon game made by Gamefreak where only the first 251 Pokemon are available but new life is breathed into them The vast majority of the Pokemon are re-balanced with new types, different stats, new movepools, and different abilities. I'd much rather have a solid roster of Pokemon where basically every one is unique and brings something to the table, each generation has the power creep getting worse and worse and so many cool Pokemon just get left to the wayside because they're outclassed by the new Pokemon
