This. Blue is the rival who peaced out after the story and did his own thing until getting the Viridian Gym job. Red and Green are just the two sides of the same player--1) game ends after I'm champion and I finish leveling up my team and 2) game ends when I complete the Dex.

Red's personality was portrayed in sun moon. Previously people thought that Red not saying anything was just a way to represent the player, but his characterization was reinforced in Let's go otherwise Green would be mute as well, which is not the case.

Most people thought Green was not even canon... So it's new in a way

I have some problems with the let's go endgame, but these three are definitely something that I really like from it

Once Red beats him he becomes pretty humble and he's chill as fuck in Gen 2.
LEt's Go is after Red beats him so again, he's chill now.
