>>37087896>>37087912I meant LGPE doesn't look at all like the Pokemon games I thought were cool.
There's no wild battles, that's like having beef stew without rice. The overworld pokemon were kind of neat I guess but I still preferred getting jumped by a pokemon in the grass. Maybe if it was both?
I remember seeing an EXP share in an old game that looked like a nice concept but here it affects every single pokemon and you can't even turn it off.
I don't like the catching mechanic either. It was so simple back then, just weaken the pokemon and select the pokeball.
I've also heard that there's not really anything to do after you beat the game, except for running around and fighting trainers in 1v1s which only sounds tedious.
Oh oh and shiny pokemon look like they're as plentiful as candy. I thought they were supposed to be some freak occurrence that you'd never see unless you dedicate days looking for but here you can just stand around and in a couple of hours of no input from you you'll get a shiny. I liked it when to get a shiny you needed either ungodly luck or ungodly dedication but that's not it.
At least the trainers and gyms look as good as they did before.
I've seen stuff like Pokemon Colosseum and the other Pokemon spinoff games so I like it when they do something new and fun, but everywhere I look they saw that this isn't a spinoff and that you can expect to see more of it and I don't want to see any of it.
I don't think they're even making the same game I've been watching anymore.
