Reason to play USUM are Battle Spot seasons, more Pokemon (new UBs) and the features intruced in SM like Festival Plaza and SOS battles are polished and not too annoying in USUM, but SM still feels like the best game out of the two mainly because both games are plot heavy, but USUM plot is fucking terrible.
