(though the actual reveal of S/M was made later in the month, unrelated to movie info) This gen has changed things around and the promo mon is revealed to us in April as opposed to February. This has caused a great amount of uncertainty as to when that is going to occur, but it is still possible for the games themselves to be revealed sooner. Will it just be Meltan/Melmetal or will we see something different in the next movie? I can't say for certain. When Genesect was distributed early, we got something else in it's movie to promote the next gen. But if they do do that, then we have two established mons in this movie and they would need to add a third. They did do that before, but that was because they were pressed for time and needed to make the gen shorter. They could still do it, I don't see why they wouldn't have a lead in to gen 8 at all, they've always done that before. For it to be Meltan/Melmetal, that makes no sense since it has full functionality in a currently existing game, with no other hallmarks of a new gen in it whatsoever. Despite what they say, I say that means it's the 4th 7th gen Mythical and nothing more. They'll still feature it by some other means if not by the movie, I'm sure.
