https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opVDOK4X7-UHere's some Pokémon that would be in the mini-Egypt region:
>Heliolisk>Umbreon/Espeon>Vibrava>Krookodile>Cacturne>Volcarona>Cofagrigus>Sandshrew>Persian>Lucario>Pyroar>Spiritomb>Hippowdon>Zebstrika>MandibuzzNew Pokemon:
>desert snakeWe're missing one of these anyway. How about regional forms of Ekans and Arbok? Rattlesnakes are desert-dwelling, and cobras are native to and iconic of Egypt. I'm thinking....Dark/Ground?
>sphinxLuxray's vaguely sphinxish ways aren't gonna cut it this time. Nuh-uh. A REAL, proper evolution line of Egyptian cats/sphinxes. Ground/Psychic. Or perhaps Ghost. Either way, has Mummy.
>scarab beetleBug/Rock. A Pokémon that is content to spend most of is time completely still, and thus can be worn as live jewelery. Learns Power Gem. Comes in different colors.
>phoenixI know we have Ho-oh, but that's a much more oriental-inspired bird, and it'd be nice to have one that's not a legendary. Fire...something; it shouldn't have the same exact typing as Ho-oh. It just depends on where they wanna go with it. What if its defenses were low, but it had an Ability that brings it back from fainting once per battle?
>scorpionFuck Drapion I want a real mean, edgy scorpion that actually looks like one. It's red-and-black, and is Dark/Fire. The body consists of individual pieces of black coal, held loosely together by living fire. The end of its tail has a "solidified flame" as a stinger, which pierces flesh and chars it at the same time. My OC, doughnut steel.
