How do I get into Pokémon battles, /vp/?
I mostly like Pokémon for the collecting, but sometimes I look through showderp threads and stuff and it looks so fun, but I barely understand 20% of what is being said.
For most of my time playing Pokémon my strategy has basically been to use the most powerful attack, take advantage of typing and give my Pokémon easy to understand items like rocky helmet or leftovers. Where do I even start?
