they are creatures from another universe... but are exactly like pokemon, with types within the 18 pokemon types, literal pokemon moves, and can be captured in pokeballs. they also behave exactly like pokemon, including understanding and following orders from humans. ok.
the designs are not what i want, but i acknowledge that what pokemon is now is not what it was before. i do not like what it is, but the designs fit in with what pokemon look like now.
why the fuck did they make a 95-base stat across the board 'pseudolegendary' to fight the ultrabeasts when 20 years ago scientists were easily able to make Mewtwo from a base 100-across the board pokemon? they could have genetically modified ANYTHING else to increase its stats. what the fuck.
why not just make a team dedicated to capturing and training various legendary/powerful pokemon in order to use them against organized crime/cults/corruption/ultrabeast-type creatures.
^that idea above would make a great pokemon game. but it is too creative for anyone at gamefreak to even come up with, let alone properly implement.
