Going into Let's Go I was excited for Wifi battling due to the limited Pokemon selection, good TM list, and lack of Z moves. After battling on and off for 2 days I can say that it's really fun. The limited Pokedex leads to a lot more creative uses of certain Pokemon that would be overshadowed later like Dodrio and Poliwrath
But what is so fucking dogshit is how everyone brings in Mew and Mewtwo. I'm forced to bring in a Mega Alakazam to OHKO Mewtwo Y with Shadow Ball, and if that fails there is no reliable counter except for Alolan Muk which is a version exclusive, and that's not including cheaters such as pic related.
When I find someone with a competently built team without crutches like a Mewtwo X/Y it's incredibly a satisfying battle win or lose, but those are hard to come by.
