Reminder that the majority ALSO have no problem glitching, injecting or resorting to other less-than-legitimate methods to hunt event pokémon because "well, I wasn't around to get the event when it happened, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't be able to give myself it".

Masuda method wasn't cancerous. It lowered the odds to 5/8192 but hatching an egg takes a lot longer time than a random encounter.

Getting the 1/64 odds for eggs was extremely hard and the method wasn't discovered until years later plus if you got the 1/64 odds it would only work for a few pokemon depending on which parents for the egg you used.

Seen it happen in the /shw/ and seen people defending the practice because, again, "we TOTALLY should be allowed to hunt it, even though we didn't actually go to the event in-person at the time or get a legit copy of the event item/wondercard to initiate"

The pokemon itself is legit though, just not the way to get to its location. One of them is a well earned shiny that was SR at full odds and could take weeks to get. Other one is a shiny literally any retard can get within 6 hours in the most hand holding game yet when it comes to shinies.

Who's more legit doesn't matter here. I argue any full odd shiny is more legit than any of the casual shit method shinies. Shinies in LGPE means literally nothing.
